How to decide what is right for you.

As you probably already know, Medicare doesn’t cover everything. Sometimes it can be a hassle to find out exactly what your plan covers, how often it’s covered, and what doctors and providers will work with Medicare when it comes to them being given an assignment.
If you’ve already been hit by unexpected fees because of procedures or tools Medicare doesn’t cover, then you should consider a Medigap Plan.

What your Medicare supplement can cover depends on the type of policy you choose with the Medigap coverage. There may be some things you need covered that someone else would not.
For example, Medicare Part A and Part B does not cover hearing aids, acupuncture, or dentures. If these are issues that directly impact you, then considering a private Medigap coverage might be ideal.
